in Bb 2.0 – a collaborative music/spoken word project
in Bb 2.0 is some crazy, creative, fucking fantastic shit. The videos can be played one at a time, if you want. But to really get a sense of this project, play them all. Simultaneously.
The Baby
In three days, I finally get to not only pet the composer but also call it my baby. I wonder how bad it would be if I licked it.
I don’t really know of any easier way to get the selective focus photographs I’m aiming to do on a digital. I’m sure I could with older, manual lenses. But to be honest, I don’t have the cash nor the time, currently, to go hunting for those options. One day, maybe.
What’s sort of neat about this lens is I can grab these little aperture discs, cut whatever shape I want into them, and whatever specular spots there are in the scene, it’ll be in the shape of whatever I cut into the disc. Hours of playing, I would imagine, is in store..
sock monkeys, stripes, and cameras
I like sock monkeys. I don’t remember how to make them *exactly*. I could try to recall the bits and pieces from memory but it would likely end up missing various limbs. Or at the very least, have body parts attached in the wrong places. But I like that I can recall how to make them rather easily.
I’m also in the market for a new camera bag, as I’m finding there is no effing way I can fit everything I own anymore in my current bag (and my camera’s appendages will only multiply from here on out). So..I’ve been looking at Domke lately. I like their durability so far but I so wish they had other colors. Like red.
I’m sorry. I identify as female. I can’t help being picky about shit like that.
(Oh, and the “stripes” mentioned in the title of the post correlates to my desire for my sock monkey to be made out of blue/green striped socks. Woot.)

a long time ago, i remember having seen a small band play live with a band member that was a girl wearing a red tie. she was playing a guitar. i think this might have been one of first little computerized sketches i’d ever done. i recently found it on my hard drive.

don't really like being worried, stressed, and sick on top of that. am hoping its just a physical manifestation of said concerns and not some nasty bug.
